Illinois Neurology NP - No Call Required

A rewarding locum tenens opportunity is available for a Neurology Nurse Practitioner in Illinois. This is an excellent chance to join a collaborative inpatient team with an ongoing need for coverage, offering a predictable schedule without any on-call responsibilities.

Practice Setting

  • Inpatient Neurology service
  • Adult patient population
  • Work alongside attending neurologists and multidisciplinary teams
  • Focus on acute neurological care

Schedule

  • Full-time coverage needed, approximately 20 shifts per month
  • Consistent 12-hour daytime shifts
  • Assignments available starting this winter

Cases

  • Inpatient rounding and evaluations
  • Stroke alert response
  • Acute ED transfer evaluations
  • Pre and post-operative management of endovascular cases

Requirements

  • Active and unrestricted Illinois license
  • Minimum of 12 months of recent Neurology experience
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Travel Accommodations

  • Travel, lodging, and rental car provided
