Keynote Breanna Hetland PhD, RN, CCRN-K
Building the Bridge Between Nursing and Innovation: Combining the Tried and True with the New and Exciting
Dr. Hetland has been exploring innovating ways to promote family engagement in symptom assessment and management in the Pediatric ICU setting. She has also been exploring the use of robotics during physical and occupational therapy. Dr. Hetland received her PhD from the University of Minnesota and completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship through Case Western Reserve University. She is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the university of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing.
Purpose: To provide a forum to share and discuss the impact of research, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement initiative on clinical practice and patient outcomes.
Target audience: This conference has been developed for staff nurses, advanced practice nurses, educators, managers, administrators, and students involved or interested in enhancing clinical practice or patient outcomes through research, evidence-based practice and quality improvement.
