Finding Joy in the Workplace

Dr. Bay has held a variety of positions in health care, including staff nurse, nurse educator and clinical nurse specialist, primarily within the VA system. She recently accepted a position as nurse consultant for the VHA Office of Inspector General in Salt Lake City. She is one of only a few nurses in this role, impacting the care of veterans on a national level.

Purpose: To provide a forum to share and discuss the impact of research, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement initiative on clinical practice and patient outcomes.

Target audience: This conference has been developed for staff nurses, advanced practice nurses, educators, managers, administrators, and students involved or interested in enhancing clinical practice or patient outcomes through research, evidence-based practice and quality improvement.
